WHAT IS AN EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)?

 EOI it’s a formal way to inform the Australian Government that you wish to apply for a skilled visa. You must receive an invitation before you can submit an actual visa application.

Your EOI is submitted through the SkillSelect system, where you provide key details about your education, work expereince, age, english language ability.
 

Each factor contributes to your points score. You need a minimum of 65 points to lodge an EOI — however, this doesn’t guarantee an invitation.

👉 For many occupations, especially competitive ones, you often need a much higher score to be considered.
👉 Some occupations in high demand or regional areas may receive invitations with lower points.
